Getting Started

Ohio Motor Pool uses your Ohio ID (OHID) credentials for login — there's no separate username or password to create.

1. From the home page (or any page you're redirected to), click Login with OHID.
2. You'll be sent to the state's OHID sign-in page. Enter your OHID credentials there.
3. Once signed in, you're returned to Ohio Motor Pool and automatically recognized.

What you can see and do depends on the role(s) an administrator has assigned you:

• Employee — can create and manage their own reservations at the motor pools they've been given access to.
• Dispatcher — can view and manage reservations across the motor pool(s) they've been assigned to, and check cars in and out for those reservations.
• Admin — everything a Dispatcher can do, plus full access to the Admin menu (motor pools, cars, pricing, users, etc.) across every motor pool.

You can see your current role(s) any time from the user menu in the top-right corner (click your name). If you believe your role or motor pool access is wrong, contact your administrator — see Users & Roles for how that's managed.

• Top navigation bar (desktop) — My Reservations, New Reservation, and (for admins) an Admin menu.
• Menu button (mobile) — opens the same navigation as a slide-out sidebar.
• User menu (your name, top right) — shows your employee ID, email, and role(s), and lets you log out.
• Success and error messages appear as a banner at the top of the page right after you take an action (like creating or cancelling a reservation).
